Tory Lanez has made headlines due to his legal battle with Megan Thee Stallion. However, his reported conflict with August Alsina turned on him in the shooting case involving her.
According to TMZ, a judge demanded Tory Lanez be placed under house arrest until the trial starts the next month. At a hearing on Wednesday morning where the prosecution and defense presented their cases, the judge ultimately decided to place the rapper under house arrest. The judge ordered Tory to stay in his house until the commencement of the trial on November 28.
Tory was ordered by a judge that starting on Friday, he would need to wear a GPS ankle monitor constantly. The prosecutors urged the judge that Tory Lanez should be arrested for allegedly assaulting August Alsina. They contended that the alleged attack was against his case’s rules. The prosecutors added that Tory would still get into trouble even with the monetary bail.
However, Tory’s legal representative Shawn Holley denied these allegations. According to Holley, Tory Lanez was not charged by the police. He dismissed Alsina’s injuries at the same time as rumors. August Alsina shared pics of himself covered in blood after allegedly being beaten up by Tory and his crew for refusing to shake hands.
Since then, Tory has denied attacking August Alsina. After the hearing, the rapper was interviewed by TMZ and he said that he is a Black guy “fighting the world.” Stay tuned to Thirsty to get the latest updates regarding this case.
