Meek Mill is certainly one of the most established rappers in the modern hip-hop world. In addition to his great songs, Mill is also a loving and compassionate person, especially towards his family and also his friends. However, that doesn’t mean he can’t be a victim of theft – which is what happened after his phone was stolen. Thankfully, his stolen phone has been retrieved and the suspected thief has been arrested.
Meek Mill released his fifth studio album Expensive Pain on October 1st last year and it had features from Lil Baby, Young Thug, Lil Durk, Moneybagg Yo, Lil Uzi Vert and others. After the release of the album, Meek Mill made it clear that he deserves the same level of respect as Kendrick Lamar.
Clearly, someone thought they could just steal Meek Mill’s phone for some reason. Mill was on a trip to Ghana when someone just straight-up stole his phone while he was on his way to perform at the Afro Nation music festival. Mill informed fans of the theft via his Instagram stories on December 29.
“They pick pocketed me for my phoneeeeeee SMH….Bring that Jawn back if you got it!”
Ghana police revealed they arrested suspect Nuhu Sule on Friday, December 30. They were able to retrieve and hand-deliver Meek his phone, which had been pickpocketed from him the day before.
“I wanna say thank you guys for getting my phone back to my life, man. Y’all ain’t let him hack me or nothing, did y’all, Commander?”
We are certainly glad to see that Meek Mill’s trip to Ghana did not end in disaster, as initially thought. Thankfully, the goodwill of people managed to save the day. Regardless, we’ll have to see what’s next in store for the rapper.
