Tory Lanez Says He Was Drunk & Had No Clue During Megan Thee Stallion Shooting

Tory Lanez has made headlines due to his legal battle with Megan Thee Stallion. He was found guilty of one felony count of assault with a semiautomatic firearm, carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle, and discharging a firearm in a grossly negligent manner to cause bodily damage. Lanez recently showed remorse over the shooting incident.

Recently, an audio of the rapper’s jail phone leaked online. Tory Lanez can be heard informing Megan Thee Stallion’s friend Kelsey Harris that he was drunk the night of the shooting and sounds genuinely regretful. Tory informed Kelsey in the recording that he had no idea what was going on.

I was just so f-cking drunk that I ain’t even know what the f-ck was going on. I ain’t never done some sh-t like that … I didn’t even understand what the f-ck was going on. Regardless, though, that’s not gonna make anything right, and it’s not gonna make my actions right.

The Canadian rapper expresses regret to Kelsey, saying he is “sad” about what transpired. Tory also explained why he was so drunk later on in the jail call. He also claimed to have forgotten what the dispute was about before the shooting.

When I got to the house, I assure you, off the top n—-, they gave me like five shots off the door. I was outta there.

Tory Lanez made the call following his incarceration for the July 2020 incident and during the call, he asked Megan’s ex-friend to bail him out of jail. Tory’s jail phone call to Kelsey was played to the jury during the recent trial, despite the fact that the recording is only now surfacing. Tory never testified, but it appears that the jail call played a factor in his conviction.

As previously reported, the jury found Tory Lanez guilty of shooting Meg in the foot and found him guilty on all three charges. Tory is awaiting punishment and faces more than 22 years in prison, according to reports, and the Canadian may be deported. You can watch the videos below.
