Tyson Fury is one of the biggest stars in the history of professional boxing, who has a deep love for professional wrestling. He made his WWE debut at Crown Jewel in 2019, where he ended up beating Braun Strowman. He was last seen at WWE Clash At The Castle earlier this year. Fans have been wondering whether Fury will appear at the Royal Rumble this year, but that might not happen anytime soon. This is because Fury has refused to put anyone over if he competes at the Royal Rumble.
As previously reported, WWE would love to have Fury appear at the Royal Rumble or WrestleMania 39. However, his immigration issues have proven to be very tricky. Not only that – WWE is not talking about Fury’s ban in the US due to his alleged ties with the mafia.
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it was reported that Tyson Fury has refused to put WWE talent over if he competes at the Royal Rumble. Thus, it would be pointless for Fury to compete at the Rumble.
”It was noted that Fury was not willing to put people over or even look vulnerable, and if he were to be in the Rumble as a surprise, what would he do and how does it even make sense for him to do a quick Rumble cameo given the amount of money it would cost to use him.”
Tyson Fury’s involvement on the road to WrestleMania could help move ticket and pay-per-view sales in a huge way. However, his future in the company seems dubious at this moment. It remains to be seen whether Fury will be able to appear on WWE television next year.
