Bobby Lashley is a former 2-time WWE Champion and continues to be one of the most respected stars in the company. His current stint in WWE is undoubtedly his best one yet, as his stock reached a whole new level over the past couple of years. That being said, Lashley wasn’t always liked in WWE. In fact, Lashley was once fired due to his girlfriend creating problems backstage in Impact Wrestling.
Kristal Marshall was Bobby Lashley’s girlfriend several years ago, who served as Lashley’s valet in TNA between October 2009 and January 2010. Lashley and Marshall parted ways with the company in 2010.
While speaking on his 83 Weeks podcast, Eric Bischoff, who was a TNA executive at the time, noted that Marshall’s backstage behavior was what led to their exit from TNA.
“Bobby was like working with butter, he was so easy. I’m talking about backstage. Just classy, easy, professional. Kristal was not. She was a little hard to deal with. She kinda ran that show, so that created a little bit of tension as time went on. She got in the way of Bobby’s career, not that it hurt Bobby at all. Obviously TNA was not gonna be where Bobby was gonna end up.”
Lashley and Marshall dated between 2007 and 2010 and have two children – Miles and Naomi, both in 2008 and 2011 respectively. Lashley also recently made his in-ring return during a WWE live event after he was fired in storyline. We’ll have to see when Lashley will return to WWE television.
