America is going through a severe opioid epidemic. Fentanyl is the go-to drug for many addicts, and the popularity boom of the drug is immensely adding to it. Rapper Boosie Badazz has a solution to this problem, but it entails doing crack cocaine.
The Louisiana rapper took to social media and talked about the drug epidemic. His advice: crack is better. He even named a few advantages of being a crack addict such as having a longer life and being funnier than the average fentanyl addict.
There’s a sad undertone to this message since it might be connected to the death of female rap legend Gangsta Boo. The Three 6 Mafia member died in Memphis, and the rapper posted the video sometime after this was confirmed.
TMZ Hip Hop revealed the word from sources close to the rapper, who claim that the police are investigating the matter, and she might have overdosed from a substance laced with fentanyl.
The rapper’s video is not to be taken seriously, as crack is also a killer drug. Moreover, many people aren’t even aware at times that they’re consuming fentanyl since it’s used as a lacing agent in many drugs.
Data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reveals that fentanyl raised drug overdoses in 2021 by 22%. It’s also behind in reducing the life expectancy in the U.S. to its lowest point since 1996, which is very grim.
