The New York Giants have finally achieved a personal best after getting their first NFL playoff berth after six years. This is definitely a cause for celebration, though the Giants might have overdone it.
Page Six reports that the team spent a whopping $40,000 on partying it up. They reportedly partied off at the Asian fusion restaurant Sei Less for a celebration for the whole team.
An insider told the outlet that the team came in around 10:30 p.m. and stayed around for about 2 a.m. Their presence in the restaurant kept the employees working until late at night, as the kitchen prepared dishes to the team and their loved ones’ liking.
Members of the team started coming in at 10:30 p.m. and stayed until 2 a.m. [The employees] kept the kitchen open late. [The players] brought their wives, family and friends for the affair.
The outlet also added that the team’s star quarterback Daniel Jones enjoyed a myriad of dishes alongside the team such as lobster, prawns, and fried rice. However, a dance battle started out of nowhere, to which many players danced off to Lil Uzi Vert’s song “Just Wanna Rock.”
The New York Giants defeated the Indianapolis Colts with a scorecard of 38-10. Their match took place in New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium and solidified their place in the NFL playoff berths.
