50 Cent is a pioneer of hip-hop and has changed the way we listen to music. He has had countless hits, which, to this date, get played among big audiences. To most fans’ surprise, Fif has now promised to release new songs in 2023.
On New Year’s Day, the head of G-Unit turned to Instagram to celebrate his close friend Eminem’s ongoing success. It follows news that the legendary Detroit rapper amassed over 5 billion YouTube views in 2022. 50 suggested in his caption that he would be releasing new songs, as well as TV programs and movies.
“That’s my Boy. Im gonna remind people i’m nice this year. New Music New Tv New movie let’s go! #bransoncognac #lecheminduroi.”
When it came to YouTube streaming in 2022, 50 Cent wasn’t exactly a slouch either. According to reports, the rapper of “In Da Club” was among the top ten rap performers on the website. Even though he only put out two songs last year, he came up with an incredible 1.8 billion views.
Some of the most well-known hip-hop figures were on the list. Only Nicki Minaj, Juice WRLD, Lil Nas X, Future, Lil Baby, NBA YoungBoy, Drake, Doja Cat, and, of course, Eminem were able to surpass Fif in terms of views. His inclusion on the list was assured by the tracks “Power Powder Respect” with Lil Durk and Jeremih and the Eminem duet “Is This Love (’09).”
Last summer, 50 Cent was transparent about his ambitions for new music. He said he had no plans to put out another album in an interview with The Breakfast Club. He instead considered releasing an EP or the music to one of his several TV shows.
The “Get Rich or Die Tryin'” rapper is on pace to reach 10 million sales on one of his biggest albums this year. Nonetheless, fans will be overjoyed to learn that 50 new songs will be released this year.
