As previously reported, Andrew Tate and his brother were arrested in Romania last week. Following their arrest, the two men and two Russian women have been hit with multiple charges which includes human trafficking, rape, and forming an organized crime group.
Romanian authorities claim that Andrew Tate and his brother sexually exploited women by forcing them to create pornographic content for several subscription-based websites. Tate and his brother have been under investigation since April. The Romanian authorities said the following in a statement:
“The four suspects appear to have created an organized crime group with the purpose of recruiting, housing and exploiting women by forcing them to create pornographic content meant to be seen on specialized websites at a cost. They would have gained important sums of money.”
Now, according to Insider, authorities have seized Andrew Tate’s luxury car collection less than a week after his arrest. According to Romanian outlet Gandul, a dozen vehicles were seized from Tate’s property. Among the list of seized vehicles were a Rolls-Royce Wraith, an Aston Martin Vanquish $ Ultimate, a Porsche Carrera 4S, and a couple of Ferraris. His $2.9 million Bugatti Chiron was also seized.
A spokesperson from Romania’s Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism said that the vehicles were being held to sustain the cost of the investigation and they are trying to determine whether the cars were purchased with money made from his alleged human trafficking schemes. If Andrew Tate is found guilty, the cars could be used to cover damages awarded to his accusers.
These are serious allegations that Tate is being accused of. If found guilty, he could face severe punishment. We will have to wait and watch what unfolds during the investigation. Stay tuned to Thirsty For News as we keep you updated on this story as it develops.
