Shanna Moakler’s Mother Gail Moakler Passes Away

Shanna Moakler has been through a lot in 2022 due to her past relationships. Sadly, 2023 is no better for her as her mother, Gail Moakler, recently passed away.

Shanna broke the news to the People on Tuesday that her mother has died. She was 77. Shanna expressed her gratitude to her friends and family members for being very supportive during this time.

“I am so thankful for all the friends and family that have reached out and sent their condolences. My mother was a beautiful and kind and loving woman, and she was everything that I hope to be.

More than anything, she was my best friend, and I will miss her every day of my life. I understand that this is a part of life and something that we all can actually support one another with, which is the loss of someone we love. Godspeed.”

The former Miss USA often writes on social media about both her mother and her father, John Moakler. She joined them in celebrating the couple’s 50th wedding anniversary in August 2021 and posted a throwback photograph of the lovely couple.

Shanna also honored Gail with a collage of old photographs on Mother’s Day in 2021. She is going through a very difficult time right now, but she is fortunate to have her friends and family by her side to support her. May her soul rest in peace.
