For the most part, wherever The Rock touches turns to gold, as far as business decisions go. This includes the impending reboot of the XFL this year. Now it seems the XFL has officially announced the schedule for the 2023 season.
The new XFL will be launching this year, with The Rock, his ex-wife and business partner, Dany Garcia, and RedBird Capital Partners, being at the helm of the project. They bought it from WWE Chairman Vince McMahon after two failed attempts at launching it.
The official XFL Twitter account took to the social media site and announced the schedule for this year’s season. The season will feature 43 games and will be simulcasted in 142 countries around the world.
It’s OFFICIAL: #XFL2023 Season Schedule has landed! All 43 XFL games (40 regular season, two playoffs, one championship) will be featured on a combination of ABC, ESPN and ESPN2, and FX. And all games will be streamed on ESPN+ and simulcasted in 142 countries around the world.
We will have to wait and see whether The Rock’s venture will prove to be a fruitful one. After the failure of ‘Black Adam,’ The Rock really needs a win right now, so a lot is certainly riding on the success of the XFL, That being said, all fans can do is wait and see how the first season will turn out.
