Taylor Swift’s consecutive hits have made her a household name in the industry. She is quite used to being the talk of the town. Emily Ratajkowski is blasting Ellen DeGeneres for a resurfaced interview with Taylor Swift that recently went viral on TikTok.
Taylor Swift sat on a chair opposite DeGeneres while photographs of renowned males such as Taylor Lautner, Justin Bieber, Joe Jonas, and Justin Timberlake flashed on the screen behind them. She was noticeably uncomfortable at that moment. According to Page Six, Ratajkowski wrote in response to the clip of Swift appearing on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” in 2012.
This is so f–ked up. She’s literally begging her to stop.
Ellen DeGeneres requested Swift to “ring a bell” whenever she saw a photo of one of the men she dated. Swift pleaded with DeGeneres to stop, telling her that she wanted to maintain the one “shred of dignity” she had. “I don’t want to [do it]. They’ll send me angry emails, and I don’t want to get them.”
“Stop it, stop it, stop! This makes me feel so bad about myself Every time I come up here, you put a different dude up there on the screen, and it just makes me really question what I stand for as a human being.”
Years later, Swift told Apple Beats’ Zane Lowe that interviewers reduced her to the guys she dated in her early career. Although she didn’t specifically mention DeGeneres, fans believed that she was certainly referring to the awkward 2012 interview. You can watch the interview below.
