Hugh Jackman is undoubtedly one of the most popular actors in all of Hollywood. Jackman made a name for himself by portraying the role of Wolverine in the X-Men movies. Fans believed Jackman was done with Wolverine after 2017’s Logan. However, Jackman will be returning to his role for one last time, as he will be part of ‘Deadpool 3.’
Last year, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman revealed to the public that Wade Wilson and Wolverine would reconnect in Deadpool 3 following the underwhelming X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
While speaking on this week’s episode of Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace?, Hugh Jackman talked about his debut in the MCU as the iconic Wolverine character. The film will mark Jackman’s 10th time portraying the character and due to this, Jackman will spend six months training to get ready for the role.
“I’ve learned you can’t rush it. I’ve learned that it takes time,” he said about the physical transformation. “So we have six months from when I finish [The Music Man] to when I started filming. And I’m not doing any other work. I’m going to be with my family and train. That’s going to be my job for six months.
And I’m really fit right now. There’s one thing that about eight shows a week being on Broadway singing and dancing is I’m fit. So I’m healthy. I have a good place to start. And apologies chickens. Run a mile. Start running now because I’m coming for you.”
Hugh Jackman has already revealed plot points for the upcoming film. The film is set to release in November 2024, so there is still a lot of time for the filmmakers to ensure the movie will be perfect. We’ll have to see how the film will turn out when it releases next year.
