LeBron James has achieved fame on a global scale because of his innate basketball talent. He recently turned 38 years old and everyone knows that the NBA icon is reaching the end of his career. LeBron recently blasted the Lakers for their unwillingness to make a trade.
LeBron James put pressure on the Lakers’ front office after scoring 37 points in the team’s fifth straight victory. His eight-rebound and seven-assist effort pulled a 136-134 win for the Los Angeles Lakers over the Sacramento Kings. James recently spoke with The Athletic about the lack of trade activity and made his intentions apparent.
Y’all know what the f— should be happening. I don’t need to talk.
The Lakers trading one or both of their remaining future first-round picks in 2027 and 2029 to acquire James some aid is what James is talking to. The front office, on the other hand, has been hesitant to part with either asset for fear of jeopardizing the future of an ordinary team.
LeBron James has previously used the media to make oblique statements in an attempt to put pressure on the front office. During a November special episode of “The Shop,” James bemoaned the dearth of quality surrounding Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, another aging great. Let’s see how things shape up for The Lakers after LeBron’s call-out. Keep an eye on Thirsty for more.
