Pamela Anderson’s Resurfaced Leaked Tape Made Her Feel ‘Sick’

Pamela Anderson got her fame from Playboy Magazine and has also starred in several Hollywood movies. In 1996, Anderson and her former husband Tommy Lee had their sex tape stolen and sold online. However, Anderson recently revealed that she had to deal with a lot of trauma after the leaked tape recently resurfaced across the internet.

In the official trailer for “Pamela, a love story,” an upcoming documentary about her life that will be available on Netflix, Pamela Anderson revealed that having to recently relive the trauma of her 1996 sex tape scandal made her feel “sick.” However, the trailer did not provide any details on how or why the tape has surfaced again.

Anderson had her privacy brutally violated, when a video of her intimate moments was leaked and distributed without her consent. The video was recorded in 1996 and it caused a huge media frenzy back then, which Anderson was forced to deal with.

Anderson said in the clip which was released on Tuesday,

“I blocked that stolen tape out of my life in order to survive, and now that it’s all coming up again, I feel sick.

I want to take control of the narrative for the first time.”

In February 2022, Hulu released the immensely popular “Pam & Tommy” miniseries, starring Lily James and Sebastian Stan. Sources said at the time of its release that Anderson would “never” watch the program. “I do know she’ll never, never watch this,” an insider previously stated to Entertainment Weekly.

“Not even years from now. Not even the trailer.”

Netflix made the announcement the following month that Anderson’s documentary was in production and explained in a press release why it was pivotal for the star to reveal her own story.
