Nicki Minaj Seeking New Management Team

Nicki Minaj is a strong and independent woman who achieves her goals with her own dedication and effort. However, no matter how powerful a celebrity is they all need a strong management team to look after their career. It was recently reported that Nicki Minaj is looking for a new management team.

According to Billboard, the Super Freaky Girl star reportedly met with Melissa Ruderman of Range Media Partners. However, there are conflicting reports on whether she signed a deal or not. Some sources claim that she signed the deal months ago, but Nicki and Ruderman’s representatives denied this.

Minaj’s representative said in a statement that, “Nicki is currently in discussions with management companies and has not yet partnered with anyone.” Ruderman also stated that she has not partnered with Nicki Minaj. Since the spring of 2022, Nicki has largely controlled her own career.

She formerly worked with Wassim Sal Slaiby of SALXCO, the management company behind The Weeknd and Doja Cat. Nicki announced their partnership in 2021, and prior to that, she worked with Irving Azoff of Full Stop Management from 2019 to 2021. Nicki’s career has previously been managed by Gee Roberson and Cortez Bryant. Ruderman has a long history of working with celebrities, dating back to 2005 and a collaboration with Mariah Carey.

Range Media Partners also boasts a slew of high-profile clients in the film, music, and entertainment industries. Nicki’s decision to look for new management seems to be an indication that new music is on the way. In anticipation of her upcoming effort the Queen MC released a series of songs last year including Do We Have A Problem? and We Go Up ft. Fivio Foreign.
