In 2021, a man named Darell Brooks drove an SUV through a crowd at the annual Christmas parade in Waukesha, Wisconsin killing six people and injuring 62 people. Darell was charged with six counts of first-degree intentional homicide and sentenced to life without the possibility of parole. WWE Superstar Braun Strowman wanted to pay special honor to one victim of that tragedy.
In honor of a young fan who tragically lost his life in the incident, Braun Strowman is teaming with the Green Bay Packers to create a pair of custom boots. The boots are modeled after Strowman’s WWE footwear and are in the Green Bay Packers’ colors.
The Packers share a video on Thursday where Strowman he would wear the boots on SmackDown this Friday in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Strowman also admitted that one of the late victims was a fan of his that wished to meet him but never got to meet him.
The former Universal Champion also revealed that the boots will be auctioned off and the proceeds will go to the Waukesha Christmas Parade Foundation.
“At the end of the day, I want to leave the world a little better than I found it, and each of you can help do that right now. Thank you,” Braun Strowman said.
Braun Strowman will be in action this Friday on SmackDown as he faces Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship. We will have to wait and see if the boots will bring him some luck against the Ring General this Friday. Stay tuned to Thirsty For News as we bring you similar stories.
