Logan Paul became a household name due to his work as a YouTuber as well as a professional boxer. His stock only increased after his current stint in WWE, where he ended up having amazing matches with The Miz and Roman Reigns. While he remains absent from WWE television after suffering an injury, it seems Shane Helms believes Logan Paul had a better rookie year than HOOK.
Logan Paul took Roman Reigns to the absolute limit in their Crown Jewel match last year. Fans were highly appreciative of Paul after his performance there and now they simply want to see more of him.
Logan Paul and AEW star HOOK were both viable candidates for PWI’s Rookie of the Year honors. However, it was ultimately HOOK who took home the prize.
Pro wrestling veteran Shane Helms didn’t seem to agree with HOOK winning the prize. This is because he believed no one other than Logan Paul deserves the award.
With all due respect, how does anyone other than Logan Paul get Rookie of the Year for 2022? He had one of the best first years in the biz I’ve ever seen.
PWI responded to Shane Helms by stating that it was purely voted by fans. Despite that, Shane Helms stated that Logan Paul deserved it more than HOOK.
Hook’s doing awesome, but no one had a first year like Logan. Not even close.
Logan Paul is set to have a match with John Cena at WrestleMania 39. We will have to wait and see when WWE will end up booking the match, as fans would love to see it take place this year.
