Ezra Miller was constantly embroiled in legal issues throughout 2022. Legal troubles have always followed the Flash actor, wherever they went. Miller has now formally accepted a plea agreement to end a Vermont lawsuit resulting from burglary allegations.
The Flash actor first pled not guilty to charges of “unlawful trespassing, two charges for burglary into an unoccupied dwelling, and petit larceny.” Earlier this week, reports indicated that they were willing to amend their plea and reach an agreement, which officially happened on Friday. The plea agreement’s specifics have already been released.
According to Variety, the most serious accusations Ezra faced were dropped, and they pleaded guilty to “unlawful trespassing.” While they faced serious jail time for the burglary and petit larceny charges, the actor now owes a $500 fine. They are also subject to other conditions such as drug testing and mental health therapy.
The charges relate to an event in August 2022. In October, they entered their initial not-guilty plea. Ezra also promised to abstain from alcohol and will be placed on probation for a year. Their legal counsel issued a statement to the press regarding the decision.
Ezra Miller pled guilty this morning to a misdemeanor unlawful trespass in Vermont Superior Court and accepted the conditions imposed by the court. Ezra would like to thank the court and the community for their trust and patience throughout this process, and would once again like to acknowledge the love and support they have received from their family and friends, who continue to be a vital presence in their ongoing mental health.
In recent months, Ezra has been confronted with further legal issues. Despite this, they continue to play an important position in the DC Film Universe, with the company reportedly already planning a sequel to the upcoming Flash film. According to a new source, we may get our first look at the hero’s first solo film in a matter of weeks. Keep an eye on Thirsty for more.
