Pamela Anderson Has Never Seen Her Stolen Adult Tape

Pamela Anderson, the Canadian actress and model, recently opened up about the infamous sex tape she made with her then-husband Tommy Lee in 1995. Anyone who has any inkling of an idea of who she is definitely knows about the tape.

In an upcoming interview for CBS Sunday Morning, Anderson revealed that she has never watched the tape and that it was “stolen property” that was never meant for the public. She went on to say that the leak was “very hurtful” and that she has never seen it to this day.

It was two crazy naked people in love. We were naked all the time and filming each other and being silly, but those tapes were not meant for anybody else to see.

The leak was very hurtful. I’ve not seen it to this day. If I wasn’t a mom, I don’t think I would have survived.”

Anderson also talked about how being a mother “saved” her from the onslaught of attention that came her way when the tape was released a year later.

The tape’s release coincided with Anderson’s efforts to shift from her “Baywatch” persona to a more serious film actress, which was completely derailed by the scandal. However, Anderson is now poised to tell her side of the story in her upcoming Netflix documentary “Pamela: A Love Story” and her memoir “Love, Pamela.”

In it, she’ll talk about key moments from throughout her life and does not shy away from difficult topics, like her allegedly abusive father and allegations of sexual abuse by a babysitter and rape at ages 12 and 14.

The whole point is not keeping those secrets, or those things buried.

Anderson emphasizes that she’s “in a really good place” now that she’s walked away from Hollywood. She said that she feels like she’s left and did something crazy.

I feel like I’ve left here, did something crazy and came back in one piece.

The documentary and the memoir will be released on January 31. Her full interview with CBS Sunday Morning airs at 9 a.m. ET on January 15.
