Lil Tjay Arrested for Gun Possession

Lil Tjay was arrested on today while in New York City on a firearm charge.

According to the New York Police Department obtained by XXL, a SUV occupied by Tjay and four other individuals was pulled over during a traffic stop in the Bronx, and during a search of the vehicle, four firearms were recovered.

All five men have been taken into custody and await to be officially charged. The incident occurred while Tjay was on his way to a music video shoot with Ice Spice.

TikTok user hijoshotit captured footage of Tjay being taken into custody, which appears to have been on the set of the Ice Spice video for their new collab “Gangsta Boo.”

Lil Tjay’s team has not yet commented on the arrest. This comes after the rapper spent several months recovering from being shot several times during an attempted robbery in New Jersey in June 2021.
