Britney Spears was recently seen causing chaos in a restaurant. Her responses have been as erratic as the restaurant “meltdown” she caused. Britney’s husband, Sam Asghari, has now come to her defense, claiming her innocence.
Sam Asghari took to Instagram to defend his wife and deny her fault. He wrote, “Don’t believe what you read online people.” in an attempt to make people think before believing anything. The actor’s post came hours after TMZ published a story about Britney’s weird behavior.
Spears allegedly “made a scene” at Joey in Woodland Hills, California. Everything started when Asghari and Spears went on a dinner date on Friday. According to TMZ, witnesses described her as acting “manic” and “talking gibberish.” which led to Asghari leaving.
A video captured by people around the singer shows quite the opposite of what the witnesses saw. Britney was seen guarding her face with the menu as the person went on to make a video. The footage notably did not show Spears speaking incoherently or Asghari leaving in a huff.
A manager at Joey’s refused to talk about the situation. However, an employee told PageSix, “The disruptor wasn’t Britney — it was the diner who taunted her by taking a video without consent.” Spears initially addressed the incident by giving the middle finger in an Instagram video.
It’s hard to verify what happened back at the restaurant. Witnesses, videos, and the restaurant employee have different versions of the story. It’s up to the people what they choose to believe.
