Jake Paul has been a force to be reckoned with in boxing. The Problem Child has an undefeated boxing record with notable wins over Anderson Silva and Tyron Woodley. Recently, Paul announced he signed a multi-fight deal to compete in mixed martial arts under the Professional Fighters League Banner.
The UFC Hall of Famer was asked by Inside Fighting if he would come out of retirement to fight Jake Paul. To this, Liddell replied that he would gladly come out of retirement to face Jake.
“Come on, he doesn’t want to fight me in MMA,” Liddell said. “He doesn’t want to fight me at all. But, that’s alright. Good luck with it.”
Chuck Liddell then continued to say that although he is 53 years old, Paul has no chance of beating him in a fight.
“I’m retired,” Liddell continued. “I’m 53, man. But again, he’s got no chance.”
Liddell was then asked if he would sign a fight contract to fight Jake Paul. To this the UFC Legend replied:
“Oh yeah, for sure. If they offer me enough money — yeah, sure.”
This isn’t the first time that Liddell has fired shots at Jake Paul. He has previously called The Problem Child out on multiple occasions to compete in boxing. However, with Liddell’s last fight being over 6 years ago, it remains to be seen if he will be able to beat Jake Paul. Stay tuned to Thirsty For News for more coverage of similar stories.
