Kelsea Ballerini Addresses Rumors of Relationship with Chase Stokes

Kelsea Ballerini is currently embroiled in dating rumours after Chase Stokes shared an Instagram photo of them looking comfortable at a football game last Friday. In another photo, the pair got close as they posed together in a group shot. Stokes even tagged Ballerini in his post but provided no explanation for their outing. Ballerini recently responded to rumors circulating that she is dating Stokes.

On Monday, the country music diva shared a TikTok video showing a screenshot of a gossip Instagram account claiming that her connection with Stokes is a publicity hoax. Ballerini had a hilarious response, saying, “I know, I know, I know. Stop reading, stop reading. Stop looking. But what is happening, guys? What? Let’s not do this.” She captioned the video, “i’m about to break up with the internet 5 sure.”

Fans were perplexed by the ‘Heartfirst’ singer’s answer, with several pointing out that she did not directly reject the rumors. “So are you confirming or denying,” one person asked in the comments section. “She didn’t deny it though,” another agreed. Others advised Ballerini to ignore online users who make assumptions about her personal life.

Ballerini has not openly dated anybody since her divorce from Morgan Evans in November 2022. That August, she filed for divorce from her nearly five-year marriage.  “I think when there’s a big life decision like that, it’s not a sudden one,” she claimed in October of the breakup.

Stokes has also been single since his breakup from Outer Banks co-star Madelyn Cline in November 2021. After more than a year together the couple decided to part ways. Chase and Madelyn’s relationship began to deteriorate in September and by October they were publicly discussing their breakup with friends. Stokes was spotted heavily making out with 22-year-old Val Bragg in December 2021 and he was also seen partying with a large number of women on New Year’s Day in January 2022 at a Miami club.
