M3gan Sequel Confirmed For 2025

M3gan is a newly released horror film taking the world by storm. Since its release a couple of days ago, the movie has been delighting viewers and surpassing box office expectations while also winning over the critics.

The story of M3gan revolves around an artificial intelligence life-like doll that is programmed to be a child’s best friend. The doll that is designed by brilliant toy-company roboticist Gemma is designed to listen and watch as she becomes a child’s friend, teacher, playmate, and protector.

In the film, Gemma suddenly becomes the caretaker of her orphaned 8-year-old niece Cady. However, due to the intense pressure at work, Gemma decides to pair her M3gan prototype with her niece in an attempt to resolve her problems.

The movie received rave reviews and a sequel is already taking shape. The sequel which will be titled “M3gan 2.0” is officially scheduled to hit theatres on January 17, 2025, according to Variety.

Akela Cooper will be returning as a screenwriter to write the sequel. While Gerard Johnstone directed the first movie, he has not yet been confirmed for the sequel. The plot details for the sequel are yet to be revealed.
