Jennifer Lopez Jokes She Had PTSD Before Ben Affleck Wedding

Ben Affleck was first engaged to Jennifer Lopez in the early 2000s and after their divorce, he was married to Jennifer Garner for a decade until 2015. Years after his divorce, Ben and J-Lo rekindled their romance in 2021 and married in Las Vegas last July. Jennifer recently joked that she experienced PTSD before the wedding.

Jennifer Lopez had “a little PTSD” before marrying Ben Affleck. It’s because the couple’s last engagement “fell apart” and the singer kept wondering if their second attempt at marriage was “really happening.” Jennifer recently appeared on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ and went into great detail about everything that happened.

“We were so happy and, of course, it was happening, but the wedding was so stressful,” the Grammy winner recalled. Lopez also revealed that Affleck proposed their July 2022 Las Vegas wedding. “One day, Ben just said, ‘F–k it, let’s just go to Vegas and get married tonight,’” the dancer said.

He said, ‘Go to rehearsal. When you get back here, I’ll have everything set up.’

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck married at midnight on July 17 in a surprise Las Vegas ceremony. The singer confirmed the news in her newsletter, On The JLo noting that the couple chose a low-key wedding in a chapel. She also revealed that she had changed her last name to match her husband’s and shared a sweet picture of herself in bed with her wedding band.

After their surprise wedding, the couple went off to Paris for a lovely summer vacation with their children which included Lopez’s twins Max and Emme and Affleck’s daughters, Violet and Seraphina. Throughout their stay in the city, the new Mr. and Mrs. Affleck were seen enjoying romantic park walks and intimate outings.
