Cobra Kai, the spinoff/sequel to The Karate Kid film series, has received a lot of praise from critics and fans alike. It stars Ralph Macchio and William Zabka, who reprise their roles of Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence respectively. The final season of the show has been confirmed as well.
Netflix has announced that the Emmy-nominated series, Cobra Kai, which revitalized the Karate Kid story for a modern audience, will be returning for its final season soon. Naturally, fans are very excited about the final season.
In an open letter to fans, creators Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg wrote, “Our day one goal with Cobra Kai has always been to end it on our own terms, leaving the Valley in the time and place we’ve always imagined.”
The release date for the sixth and final season of Cobra Kai has not been announced yet, however, the show’s creators have given fans some hope for the future. The show’s creators stated in the announcement that they hope to continue telling more Karate Kid stories and that they are open to creating additional spin-offs from the popular martial arts franchise.

We will have to wait and see when the final season of Cobra Kai will drop this year. Needless to say, fans are extremely excited about the very last season of the beloved show.
