50 Cent remains one of the most influential rappers in the history of the hip-hop world. He made headlines last year when he spoke out against South Florida-based plastic surgeon Angela Kogan. 50 is now moving the penis enlargement lawsuit to mediation.
According to AllHipHop, 50 Cent is going to mediation in his penis enlargement lawsuit against Perfection Plastic Surgery (PPS). Fif and his legal team are scheduled to meet with PPS founder Angela Kogan on February 28th, according to court documents.
Furthermore, 50 filed a motion for mediation, which was clearly approved. If neither party can reach an agreement during mediation, the case will be tried in July 2023. The documents read the following.
Plaintiff Curtis J. Jackson, III p/k/a 50 Cent (‘Jackson’) and Defendants Angela Kogan (‘Kogan’) and Perfection Plastic Surgery, Inc. d/b/a Perfection Plastic Surgery & MedSpa (“MedSpa”)1 will hold the mediation conference in this matter before Mark E. Stein, Esq. on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. by video conference. The mediator and Jackson, Kogan and MedSpa have agreed to this date.
While this case has been ongoing since last year, some may be confused about how the “penis enlargement” factor comes into play. Last September, 50 sued Kogan for using a picture of him to promote and claim he’d undergone penis enhancement surgery.
The defendants later stated that 50 should sue The Shade Room for making similar allegations. His legal team filed the paperwork to include TSR in the lawsuit last week. Furthermore, according to the Queens legend, Kogan used a photograph of him to promote her business.
The promotion was obtained under false pretenses that he had undergone enlargement procedures. 50 Cent also claimed that the gossip site aggravated matters by subjecting him to “ridicule.” You can watch the posts below.
