Floyd Mayweather is widely known for his immense wealth and successful career as a boxer. However, he also has a reputation for making headlines in various ways and keeping fans on their toes. Many fans have come to expect this from him and his unique way of staying in the spotlight. He is always ready to fight and now it seems he is set to fight former Bellator fighter, Aaron Chalmers.
On Monday, Floyd Mayweather announced his next upcoming fight. He will be facing ex-Bellator fighter and reality TV star Aaron Chalmers on February 25 at The O2 Arena in London.
“Different face, different name, same results.”
Chalmers, a debutant in the boxing ring, expressed his excitement on Instagram ahead of the bout, stating “This is the biggest opportunity of my career! Someone’s ‘0’ has got to go.”
Mayweather, a retired professional boxer with a 50-0 record, last fought in an official bout in August 2017 when he secured a TKO victory over Conor McGregor. Since then, he has participated in five exhibition matches against fighters from other combat sports and celebrities, including Logan Paul and Mikuru Asakura.
We will have to wait and see how Floyd Mayweather will fare in his exhibition match. Regardless, fans will definitely be tuning in to watch that match.
