Kanye West’s name has been in the headlines over the last several months for all the wrong reasons. He was caught up in numerous controversies from White Lives Matter to his comments regarding the Jewish community. Needless to say, the rapper has had a rough year. However, 2023 seemed to start off better for West as he reportedly married his Yeezy designer Bianca Censori.
After keeping a low profile since reportedly getting married not too long ago, Kanye West resurfaced again with his reported wife. This time the paparazzi were ready for him as they captured the rapper on video.
West immediately becomes perturbed after realizing that he is being filmed. He then asked the photographer to stop.
“Stop. Just stop, bro,” Kanye West warns. “It’s antagonistic. You got the shot. It’s like, you don’t even know. You just jump up on people like this.”
He then continued to say that the first time he took medication was when he got mad at the paparazzi. He also said he can’t live like a caged animal in California.
“Do you know the first time I took medication, where I was?” Kanye continues. “’Cause I got mad a paparazzi. Do you know what paparazzi was? The same ones that shot Brittney. My dad did photography for newspapers. It has to be some kind of balance, some kind of conversation. I can’t live in California and my life like I’m some kind of caged animal.”
The photographer profusely apologized but Kanye wasn’t done letting him know what was on his mind. He continues:
“The media doesn’t have a right to just, boom, pop up,” he adds. “We ain’t have no idea. Then I have no say so in the shot. It’s not just that. It’s the entire media. Y’all find out where we are at. Y’all take this photo. What percentage of the money do we get off these photos?”
When the paparazzi reminded West that it isn’t illegal to take pictures of the rapper in California. Ye responded by asking him how he would feel if he took his camera causing a tense moment for the photographer.
“Let people know. Let all the paparazzi know. It’s up,” Kanye concludes before returning to his car.
Kanye West kicked off 2023 in the best way possible by marrying Bianca Censori in a private ceremony earlier this month. Since then, he has kept a low profile out of the public eye in such a way that even his own lawyers are unable to get in touch with the rapper.
