M3GAN is a recently released horror film that has taken the world by storm. Since its release a few days ago, the film has been delighting audiences and exceeding box office expectations, while also winning over critics. However, Violet McGraw, a young actor who played one of the lead roles in the popular horror film, made a fortune from the project.
According to TMZ, Violet’s minor contract states that the actress received an assured 4 weeks of work and was paid $3,932.50 per week. She also received an additional 2 weeks on top of that for the government-mandated quarantine in New Zealand, where they shot the movie.
Violet’s job also brought a few extra benefits for her, like getting to fly business class to New Zealand for the project, which is pretty awesome considering it’s a 13-hour flight from Los Angeles International Airport. The contract also revealed that she receives bonus payments based on how well the movie performed at the box office. And as it has already made over $73 million in the United States, Violet could receive an additional $150k.
For those who don’t know the plot of M3GAN, it’s about a toy maker who builds a robotic friend for kids and experiments it out on her niece before realizing the doll has started to think itself and developed a merciless mind. It ultimately decides it wants to be in charge of raising the girl, and in order to do so, it goes on a murdering rampage.
The film received excellent reviews, and plans for a sequel are already underway. The official release date for the sequel, officially titled “M3gan 2.0,” is January 17, 2025. Keep an eye on Thirsty For News to get the latest updates.
