Mike Tyson Accused Of Sexual Assault In $5 Million Lawsuit

Mike Tyson is one of the greatest boxers of all time. At the peak of his career, Tyson was known as the baddest man on the planet. He was an unstoppable force in the ring. Despite his popularity, Tyson’s life and career weren’t free of controversies. From biting off his opponent’s year to allegedly raping a woman, Tyson has seen his fair share of controversies in his life. It now looks like he may be embroiled in another one.

According to RadarOnline.com, a woman who has opted to remain anonymous has accused Mike Tyson of sexual assault in the ’90s in a recent court filing. The alleged victim is seeking $5 million in damages.

The woman filed her documents in Albany, New York this month under the state’s Adult Survivor Act which provides individuals with a one-year window to file lawsuits for assaults that took place years ago.

In her affidavit, she noted to have met the former boxer at a local hotspot at the time called Septembers. She recalls getting into Tyson’s limo to pick up her friend when the alleged incident took place.

“I got in Tyson’s limousine to pick up my friend from her house,” she alleged in the court docs.

She then mentioned that she asked Tyson several times to stop but he continued the alleged assault and “violently raped” her.

“I told him no several times and asked him to stop, but he continued to attack me. He then pulled my pants off and violently raped me,” the plaintiff claimed.

She stated that the incident left her grappling with feelings of worthlessness, shame, embarrassment, and perpetual sadness. She also claimed that the alleged assault affected her experience with relationships.

“I have experienced extreme emotional suffering including but not limited to nightmares, panic attacks and flashbacks,” the woman alleged, per her filing.

This isn’t the first time that Mike Tyson has been accused of sexual assault. He was previously accused of raping Desiree Washington for which he served three years in prison. He has maintained his innocence till today. Stay tuned to Thirsty For News as we stay on this story.
