Nipsey Hussle was taken far too soon and his legacy will live forever. Now his name will be immortalized forever. Some folks are taking issue with a Family Guy joke about Nipsey Hussle that recently surfaced.
Twitter user @lowkeykai_ recently posted a clip from a Family Guy episode that featured a joke about the late rapper. The episode is titled “Young Parent Trap,” and it debuted in April of 2021. In one scene, Chris told his father that he would be attending Quachella, a music festival.

The post has gained a lot of attention, and many people have commented on how funny or offensive the joke was. One person tweeted: “Family guy made a Nipsey Hussle joke that was so put of pocket bruh.”
Another person posted: “White people show making fun of a really tragic event like that feels kinda wrong, idk, feels like mockery, don’t forget these people made Cleveland and had him voiced by mike Henry.” The dark humor in the comic didn’t offend everyone.
A third user commented: “I know damn well ‘they’ ain’t tryna cancel Family Guy over a Nipsey Hussle joke that was accurate lmao. That show comes for EVERYBODY-not just ‘us.'” In March 2019, outside his Los Angeles boutique, The Marathon Clothing, Nipsey Hussle was shot and died.
Eric Holder Jr., the man who killed Nipsey Hussle, was convicted guilty of the rapper’s murder in July of last year. When he gets sentenced on February 22, he might receive a life sentence. You can check out the video and Twitter reactions below.
