Jay-Z is widely acknowledged as one of the most influential artists in the hip-hop industry. Jay is also interested in fields other than hip-hop, but his first love will always be music. In fact, he is set to perform at the Grammys this year.
According to HITS Daily Double, the legendary rapper is one of many top stars who will participate in this year’s Grammy Awards ceremony, which will take place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on February 5.
It was further reported that Jay-Z will “possibly” be joined by DJ Khaled, whose star-studded “God Did” song he helped earn multiple nominations with his show-stopping guest verse.
Bad Bunny and Harry Styles will also likely perform at this year’s Grammys, along with Mary J. Blige, Dave Grohl and Brandi Carlile. Recording Academy has reportedly faced “enormous hurdles” while organizing this year’s show.
This is due to the fact that quite a few top names have distanced themselves from the event. The likes of Taylor Swift, Adele and more will not be performing there either. We will have to wait and see how Jay-Z’s performance will turn out at the event.
