Logan Paul became a household name due to his work as a YouTuber as well as a professional boxer. His stock only increased after his current stint in WWE, where he ended up having amazing matches with The Miz and Roman Reigns. While he remains absent from WWE television after suffering an injury, it seems Logan Paul has been criticized for his lack of passion towards pro wrestling.
Logan Paul took Roman Reigns to the absolute limit in their Crown Jewel match last year. Fans were highly appreciative of Paul after his performance there and now they simply want to see more of him.
Logan Paul truly won over fans to the point that they actively miss him, as The Maverick continues to recover from the injuries he suffered at last year’s Crown Jewel event.
While speaking during a recent edition of Insight with Chris Van Vliet, John Morrison talked about Logan Paul’s journey in professional wrestling. He questioned Paul’s passion for the business and criticized him for lacking actual passion by not even talking about wrestling since his injury.
“Remember when he had that match and he said he blew out his knee, all three ligaments, ACL PCL MCL and come to find out like, just kind of a sore knee. Man, poor guy! A lot of people are acting like he’s God’s gift. And if he wanted to have, I’ve had close to 4,000 matches, and I’ve torn both knees for real, [pointing] like no MCL, partially torn scope, scope, scope, partial ACL. If he wants to stay in the business and do it for real, why doesn’t he talk about wrestling then?
Logan Paul was believed to have a match with John Cena at WrestleMania 39, but that will no longer be happening anymore. We’ll have to see what WWE will have planned for Logan Paul once he is back.
