Nikki Bella is certainly one of the most beloved female WWE Superstars in the history of the company. She was also an integral part of the WWE women’s division during the early 2010s as well. She was with Cena, but those times passed. In fact, she even wore the same wedding dress she wore while together with John Cena while marrying Artem Chigvintsev.
Nikki Bella was in a relationship with John Cena from 2012 until their highly publicized breakup in 2018. This was after Cena proposed to Bella during WrestleMania 33 back in 2017.
At her wedding to Artem Chigvintsev in August 2022 in Paris, Nikki Bella raised eyebrows as she wore a dress she’d previously purchased while engaged to John Cena.
While speaking to Us Weekly, Nikki Bella talked about wearing the aforementioned wedding dress while marrying Artem Chigvintsev. Bella stated that it lent a feeling of “empowerment,” which is why she kept it even after splitting with Cena. She added that Artem was very cool with it as well.
“I went back and forth with that decision,” the reality star admitted. “I was like wait, why should I not wear what I love? Because of my past? It just didn’t make sense to me.

Bella and Chingvintsev are not legally married just yet either. As for John Cena, he married Shay Shariatzadeh in 2020 in Tampa, Florida, and had a second wedding in Vancouver, Canada, in 2022. Both are happy in their lives right now and that’s all that matters.
