2 Chainz Discovered Late Father’s Hidden Cash Stash Because Of Broken Pipe In House

2 Chainz established himself as one of the most distinguished rappers in the Hip-Hop world. He even went ahead and bought bootleg versions of his albums in the past. He also recently revealed that he found his late father’s hidden cash stash because of a broken pipe in his house.

Rapper 2 Chainz revealed that a burst pipe at his residence led to the uncovering of a hidden cache of money, believed to have been left behind by his deceased father.

As seen in a recent Instagram Stories update, workers found the collection of bills while carrying out repairs on the property. “Quick story,” Chainz said in a clip captioned “RIP POPS” while running his hands through the newly uncovered cash.

“I had a busted pipe in the basement. They fixed my basement and then they found, um, I guess it’s my pops’ old stash.

It is currently unknown for how long the stash had been concealed in the home. The artist’s father passed away in 2012. In an interview with Fuse News in 2013, 2 Chainz shared his thoughts on the passing of his “best friend” and delved into the complexities of father-son relationships.

“Father-and-son relationships, it’s a lot of masculinity,” he said at the time. “You’re taught to be strong. You’re taught to fight back. You’re taught not to cry. … Losing him, I definitely lost somebody that I could trust, confide in, and communicate with about a lot of different things and talk to. But even that experience of losing him made me stronger.”

Last year, Chainz reflected on the 10th anniversary of his father’s death and offered some words of encouragement to fans who dealt with the same thing. Regardless, fans will always appreciate the rapper for how much he loved his father.
