Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is a renowned figure in the world of professional wrestling and maintains a strong connection to the industry despite his flourishing career in Hollywood. He even has his own show called ‘Young Rock,’ but it seems The Godfather is not happy about the way he has been portrayed in the show.
On the other hand, WWE Hall of Famer The Godfather was one of the mainstays of the company during the early 90s, when he was Papa Shango. When he embraced his Godfather gimmick in 1998, the WWE Hall of Famer truly became a well-known name in the company.
‘Young Rock’ chronicles the journey of Dwayne Johnson, beginning with his debut in the WWE as Rocky Maivia and culminating in his evolution into the globally recognized and respected figure he is today.
The series has received acclaim for some of its casting choices, such as Becky Lynch’s portrayal of Cyndie Lauper, however, not all of the historical portrayals have been as positively received.
While speaking with The Attitude Era Podcast, The Godfather, who used to be a part of The Nation of Domination, eviscerated The Rock for wrongfully portraying him in the show, regarding his height.
“F**k Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. That Mot**rf**ker should never had Ceelo f**king Green portray me. I’m 6 foot 7, ok, and they portrayed me as somebody who’s 6 foot 1.
So, f**k the Rock, f**k him, m**herf**ker, f**k that ba**ard, , that mo**erf**ker f*cking 3 inches shorter than me and had me 5 inches shorter than me. F**k The Rock,”
The Rock also has an insanely busy schedule ahead of the Royal Rumble, so it is unlikely he will be appearing at the event. We’ll have to wait and see what’s next in store for The Rock.
