Kanye West is a prominent and accomplished figure in the hip-hop and music industry, renowned for his business acumen as well. Despite this, his actions and statements have frequently sparked controversy and debate. Despite the controversies surrounding him, West is currently happily married to Bianca Censori. However, not everything is going well for him right now as he has been accused of battery and assault.
Kanye West was involved in an altercation on Friday evening (January 26) while on his way to his daughter’s basketball game in Los Angeles. Somehow, something like this tends to happen to West.
As revealed by a video provided by TMZ, Kanye West could be seen swiping a phone away from a person in a car and breaking it. Kanye West exited his own vehicle while en route to the basketball game and approached a car he believed was tailing him.
He peered into the car and confronted the woman, who is a photographer, expressing his anger and in retaliation, he snatched the phone she was holding from her hand and broke it, before tossing it on the street.
It is unclear if the photographer was indeed following Kanye, but she did file a police report about the incident in Ventura County.
Officers from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department were called to the scene “around 4:30 PM and were provided video evidence of the incident.” Regardless, West and his wife made their way to the basketball game with North West and that’s all that matters.
