Margot Robbie enthralled viewers with a personal and touching performance in “The Wolf of Wall Street.” The Aussie actress rose to fame around the world as a result of the film’s box office and critical success. However, Robbie has recently admitted that she might have chosen a different profession other than acting, possibly a waitress at Hooters.
Robbie appeared in an interview with New Music Express, where she recalled the time when she was 16 and was given the opportunity to work as a waitress at the well-known restaurant chain Hooters. The actress recalled receiving the offer after appearing as a customer in a commercial for the business at the time.
“At the end of the day, they offered me a job, and I was like, ‘I think this is where my career is going, and I’m going to end up working at Hooters.’”
Robbie admitted that the offer made her think a lot, even though she did not say why she was chosen for the job. The actress noted that she was not paid for the job by the restaurant chain, which is renowned for outfitting its female staff in short, skintight uniforms to serve its patrons.
In other parts of her interview, the star discussed her role in “Babylon,” a movie directed by Damien Chazelle, in detail. She noted that being a star in the movie was “fun” and “overwhelming,” and she even had the opportunity to offer the director some suggestions regarding her character.
However, we are fortunate that she did not decide to pursue that career path because otherwise, we would not have had the opportunity to watch her outstanding performances in a variety of films. Stay tuned to Thirsty For News to get more updates.
