Batista Denies Breaking Daniel Craig’s Leg While Filming ‘Spectre’

Dave Bautista is a sought-after actor in the business. Batista made a name for himself by portraying the role of Drax the Destroyer in Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy film franchise. Batista always wanted a movie based on his character but it never came to fruition, which Marvel didn’t really find any need for, much to Batista’s dismay. He also denied breaking Daniel Craig’s leg while filming ‘Spectre,’ something which fans thought he did

On the other hand, Daniel Craig made a name for himself by portraying the role of James Bond in the long-running franchise featuring the world’s most famous spy. Craig began his Bond journey with Casino Royale and ended it with No Time To Die.

The two have worked together previously on 2015’s James Bond film Spectre. While the film was not necessarily noteworthy, it did help Batista get worldwide exposure as well.

While speaking to Jimmy Fallon, Batista talked about how both he and Craig were injured during their time on the Bond set. The Animal then went on to deny that he broke Craig’s leg.

“I did not break his leg [as was reported]. His knee needed surgery, but it was not my fault! We were tussling around and his knee popped. And then, yeah, we were messing around some more and my nose was broken. This was the train fight scene, and it was really one of the hardest fight scenes that I ever had in my life.”

There was a point where we were filming Glass Onion and we were in Greece,” Bautista said. “It was a beautiful day and we were sitting there in beautiful, comfortable clothes. I just looked at him and I go, ‘Man, isn’t it great that we’re not on a film beating the s*** out of each other? And then we just laughed.”

Daniel Craig also screamed after he accidentally broke Batista’s nose. As for Batista, he has no intention of portraying Drax The Destroyer ever again. Regardless, Batista is happy with his career right now and that’s all that matters.
