The NFL GOAT finally called it quits as far as his career was concerned a couple of days ago. While speaking to TMZ Sports, Dr. Jenn Mann, the ‘Couples Therapy’ doctor, stated that she fears the future Hall of Famer could have a “very difficult transition” to retirement.

According to the therapist, it’s common for athletes to experience difficulties after their athletic careers come to an end. With Tom Brady’s unparalleled success and longevity in the game, the therapist expresses concern that the next few months could be particularly challenging for him as he adjusts to life after football.

The therapist explained that the sudden transition from an athletic lifestyle, where everything from nutrition to emotions is structured around the sport, to its abrupt removal can be surprisingly difficult. The change can leave athletes feeling lost and in need of adjusting to a new routine.

According to Dr. Jenn, there are several options for Tom Brady to navigate this challenging transition. One solution is his recent $375 million broadcasting contract with Fox. However, if that does not provide enough support, Dr. Jenn recommends therapy for Brady and finding a new sense of structure in order to smoothly transition into the next chapter of his life.
