Post Malone nearly faced legal trouble while filming a new episode of the hidden camera comedy show, Impractical Jokers.

According to the New York Post, the episode saw the singer teaming up with cast member Brian “Q” Quinn in a prank where they pretended to be parking attendants. However, their joke, which involved pretending to smoke weed in a customer’s vehicle, almost resulted in police intervention when the customer threatened to call 911. Luckily, the responding officers turned out to be fans of the show and the situation was resolved without any arrests.

The upcoming Season 10 of Impractical Jokers will feature the cast going back to the streets of New York City, with plans to shoot in local supermarkets, delis, and Tompkins Square Park. This is a departure from recent seasons, where a significant portion of the show was filmed on controlled sets in New Jersey.

In addition to his work on Impractical Jokers, Post Malone is currently on tour in Australia, performing in Docklands, AUS on February 7th and 9th, and then in Burswood on February 12th. He has only one U.S. show currently scheduled, at BottleRock Napa Valley on May 26th, but fans are hoping for more U.S. dates to be announced in the near future.
