WWE Hall Of Famer Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler was one of the mainstays of WWE television for several years and was the voice of a generation. He is no longer part of the active WWE commentary team, but does make sporadic appearances from time to time. However, it seems Lawler was recently rushed to the hospital.
The King was paired with Jim Ross and the two created magic for years. While he is no longer an active part of WWE, he keeps himself busy in the indie scene as well.
As fans know by now, Jerry Lawler has had medical issues over the past few years. This included the time in 2012 where he almost lost his life due to a heart attack during an episode of Monday Night RAW.
Lawler was rushed to the hospital after having a medical emergency on Monday. He is currently at a hospital in the Fort Myers, Florida, where he owns a condo in the same area.
Ricky Morton took to Twitter today and wished his friend well. A friend of Lawler stated on Facebook that Lawler is believed to have had a stroke, but there is no confirmation regarding his health status just yet. We will keep you updated on his status right here at Ringside News.
