‘Indiana Jones 5’ Full Title Finally Revealed

The fifth Indiana Jones film has been a long road to get made for over a decade and will finally be released this year. The upcoming movie’s full title has finally been revealed: Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny and fans can’t wait for its release.

The first trailer dropped on December 1, giving a glimpse at all the action that’s in store and the dynamic between Harrison Ford and Phoebe Waller-Bridge. Naturally, fans were very excited about the trailer.

While speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, Harrison Ford gave his honest reaction to being briefly de-aged in the film. While Ford will be returning for the film, there will be many other new people in it as well.

According to Hollywood Life, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny will release on June 30, 2023. The new movie will come out over 15 years after the last sequel Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, which came out in May 2008.

In the opening sequence, technology was leveraged by the producers to de-age Harrison Ford. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the actor shared his thoughts on the process. He stated, ”I never loved the idea until I saw how it was accomplished in this case — which is very different than the way it’s been done in other films I’ve seen.

They’ve got every frame of film, either printed or unprinted, of me during 40 years of working with Lucasfilm on various stuff. I can act the scene and they sort through with AI every f***** foot of film to find me in that same angle and light. It’s bizarre and it works and it is my face.”

We will have to wait and see how the film will be received by fans and critics alike once it releases this year. Needless to say, fans are very excited for the upcoming film in the iconic franchise.
