John Cena would always be regarded as one of the greatest WWE superstars of all time. The Face that Runs the Place still has some of his roots intact in WWE but has successfully transitioned to the world of films to make a similar mark in Hollywood as he did in WWE. Cena became a part of the Fast and Furious franchise since their last installment and is gearing up for the trailer release of the tenth movie of the series.
John Cena recently posted on Twitter, reflecting back on joining the Fast and Furious series in 2021. Furthermore, he seems all excited for the trailer release of the tenth installment set to drop tomorrow worldwide.
“Getting to enter a franchise and the Toretto family was an incredible honor. #Fast9 allowed us fans to reconnect with characters we’ve missed and go on the adventure that ONLY
@TheFastSaga can deliver. Excited for the #Fast10 trailer launch tomorrow!!!”
The Fast and Furious series has been one of the most successful franchises in Hollywood. The adventures of Dominic Torretto and his family as they battle various enemies in fast-paced action have mesmerized the audience all over the world.
The franchise started back in 2001 introducing Dominic Torreto, Brian O’Conner, and his cohorts to the world. Since then, it has explored the world of street racing, planned heists, and strong ties of family among the characters.
John Cena joined the Fast saga back in 2021 for the ninth installment titled ‘Fast 9.’ He debuted as the antagonist ‘Jakob Torretto’, the estranged brother of Vin Diesel’s character Dominic Torretto looking to seek revenge on his brother while trying to take over the world with a military armed force of his own.
John Cena’s recent tweet and excitement for the tenth film confirms his presence in the movie. The ending of Fast 9 saw Cena’s character make amends with Dom and his crew, so it can be said that that 16-time WWE champion would be on the good side this time, as the franchise approaches its end with the second last movie of the series.
