Billie Eilish is definitely one of the best singers in the whole world, as Eilish has worked hard to become as recognizable as she is now. While she might just be 21 years old, there is no denying just how much fans love her. Unfortunately, she has to deal with stalkers due to her popularity and now it seems Eilish got a 5-year restraining order against one of her stalkers.
As previously reported, Eilish’s family home in Los Angeles was the site of a burglary back in January. The burglar tried to get into her Highland Park property, which worried many fans.
Due to this, Billie Eilish was seeking a restraining order against the man who broke into her home. According to TMZ, Billie Eilish and her family have been granted court-ordered protection from an individual who allegedly broke into her childhood home, according to reports. The singer and her family are taking legal action to ensure their safety from this individual.
Eilish made a virtual court appearance on Thursday for a hearing, during which the judge granted her a 5-year restraining order against 39-year-old Christopher Anderson. In addition to Billie, the order also provides protection for her parents, Patrick and Maggie, and her brother, Finneas. This legal action is being taken to ensure the safety of the Eilish family.
Billie stated in court that she no longer feels safe visiting her family, especially after the police had to be called to their home on five separate occasions in December due to Anderson’s unwanted visits. This situation has caused her great distress and she is seeking the protection offered by the restraining order.
The permanent restraining order requires Anderson to maintain a distance of 100 yards from Billie, her family, and her parents’ house at all times. Additionally, he is prohibited from contacting her on social media or approaching her vehicle or workplace. Any violation of these terms could result in immediate arrest by the police. The order is a strong measure aimed at ensuring the safety and peace of mind of Billie and her family.
