It has been a long time since Joe Exotic became a viral sensation and well-known name after Netflix’s “Tiger King” blew up during the pandemic. The Tiger King star is still behind bars, and that won’t be changing anytime soon. That being said, it seems Exotic plans on running for President next year.
According to RadarOnline, Joe Exotic revealed in a handwritten letter from a federal penitentiary in Texas, where he is serving 22 years in a murder-for-hire plot to eliminate Carole Baskin, that he plans on running for President in 2024 and will announce his move in the next couple of weeks.
“I will be announcing that I am running for President for 2024 in the next couple of weeks.’
“It has only been done 3 times from federal prison,” he added. “I will make the world listen to the evidence that the DOJ (Department of Justice) is corrupt….My federal election papers will be (filed) next week to make it official.”
Since his 2019 conviction, which included eight counts of violating the Lacey Act for falsifying wildlife records and nine counts of violating the Endangered Species Act, Joe has been actively using social media to voice his belief that his incarceration is unjust and should be considered “bogus.”
Later, Exotic was resentenced to 21 years in prison as he underwent treatment for early-stage cancer. He alleges that his convictions were based on false testimony and suppressed evidence, and that his sentence was unjust.
This is certainly a very interesting endeavor that Joe Exotic wants to take part in next year. Regardless, we will have to wait nd see how his Presidential election will fare from Federal prison.
