Bobby Shmurda remains one of the most intriguing rappers in the Hip-Hop world right now. Apart from that, he is known for his fashion sense and also likes to have a good time with fellow rappers and friends. He also has pure disdain for snitches and it seems Shmurda decided to take aim at snitches in a recent freestyle rap.
The hip-hop world was truly shaken when Young Thug, Gunna, and several other YSL affiliates were arrested under the Georgia RICO Act. The case continues to go on and makes headlines even now.
Young Thug and Gunna were initially denied parole from an Atlanta jail on additional drug and illegal guns charges. Things have only been getting worse for everyone involved right now.
Gunna has faced criticism from some who claim that he has snitched on Thug. Despite these claims, the rapper known as “Pushin P” vehemently denies the allegations and has offered an explanation for his decision to take an Alford Plea. Gunna asserts that this decision was made in his best interest and he has no intention of cooperating with authorities. The Hip Hop community has had mixed reactions, with some choosing to remain silent, while others have unfollowed Gunna and publicly denounced snitching.
While Bobby Shmurda hasn’t directly mentioned Gunna, he did drop a new freestyle rap recently, where the rapper took aim at snitches and rats. He included Young Thug in the caption for good measure.
“So @4shootersonly f*ck it we dropping this today !!!! Straight from the Supreme Court screaming🗣️ #freeslime 4eva 🤢🦁💚.
“Man, fck all y’all Rap nggas / Most of y’all some rat nggas / All y’all chit chat nggas, oh yeah
Bobby Shmurda has a history of addressing snitching in his music, previously releasing a track with similar themes in early January. While he has not specifically named Gunna, the speculation that he is referring to the “Pushin P” rapper has been prevalent. Nevertheless, it is important to note that Shmurda remains a vocal advocate for the release of Young Thug and continues to use his platform to spread this message.
