Kodak Black and Justin Bieber have found themselves in hot water as they are currently being dragged to court due to a shooting that took place at a Beiber concert after-party during Super Bowl weekend back in 2022. Black was one of the shootout victims himself, and others are now suing them for compensation.
According to TMZ, Mark Schaefer and Adam Rahman claim in the lawsuit that they were shot and suffered serious injuries in the February 2022 shootout outside The Nice Guy in Los Angeles. And now they are holding Justin, Kodak, and the venue responsible for that tragedy.
According to the report first published by TMZ, three people, including Kodak, were shot outside the party. Kodak’s camp claims that as the rapper was exiting the place, a member of his crew was jumped by an unknown assailant. The rapper threw himself into the fray to save his friend before shots were fired.
The alleged victims assert in the documents that Kodak was a significant contributor to the incident. They claim he was attempting to harm them and worsen the situation, and they are placing full responsibility for the shooting on him. According to Kodak’s attorney, Bradford Cohen,
“I have seen a lot of bad complaints in my day. This is the most poorly drafted complaint I have seen in 26 years. I expect Kodak to be dismissed from this suit fairly quickly.
There is zero specificity in the complaint and Ms. Allred groups the defendants all together instead of making specific allegations against each. It’s law school 101. I am embarrassed for Ms. Allred that she actually signed her name to that complaint.”
In addition to suing Bieber and Kodak Black, the victims of the shooting also sued The Nice Guy, The Hwood Group, and Revolve Group. They also went all out, suing the cities of Los Angeles, West Hollywood, and Los Angeles County for damages. Keep an eye on Thirsty For News to get the latest updates regarding the ongoing story.
